Path closure on clifftop trail in Dunbar

Section 10: North Berwick to Dunbar

Due to high rainfall and movement of the ground along the clifftop in Dunbar, a short section of the path has been closed for safety reasons. There is a signed diversion in place, so please follow the alternative route around this stretch, which leaves the clifftop trail at Bayswell Park/Bayswell Road, shown below.

Due to the scale of the issue, this is likely to be a long-term diversion but we will update this page when we know more about the timescale to make the section of cliff safe.
