The fallen tree has been cleared and the diversion is no longer needed.

Original story:

A fallen tree is obstructing the John Muir Way on the Strathkelvin Railway Path at Lennoxtown. The tree is passable, but this is not recommended.

A short diversion is advised through the village to avoid the tree. The diversion is not signed but is simple to follow. See map and directions. The total diversion is 0.5 mile (versus 0.2 mile).

The local authority is aware and we will update this alert when the tree is cleared.
