“We’re Good To Go” is the official UK mark to signal that a tourism and hospitality business has worked hard to follow Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and has a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.Muiravonside is Falkirk's only Country Park, providing 170 acres of stunning woodland and parkland, a mini demonstration farm, a sculpture trail and a children's play area.
The River Avon trail runs through the site, please follow the diversion signs to navigate round the section of route closed due to rock fall. The John Muir way passes close to the site and can be accessed by following the wooden stairs up to the top of the impressive aqueduct. The Sculpture and Poetry trail added to the park in 2016 can be enjoyed by heading through the archway off the main car park and then following the 'art in the park' way markers and map boards.
The park has a great play area next to the café, and also two adventure trails full of chunky wooden play equipment and suitable for the more adventurous. They are waymarked Activ8 and Play Trail and can be started either near the café or the car park.
We run a whole program of events from wildlife watches to craft sessions. Education activities and private tours can also be booked directly with the Countryside Ranger.
